The Mississippi River Bridge has two towers, both in the Mississippi River, spaced about 1,500 feet apart. The bridge's towers, when completed, will be 400 feet tall, about two-thirds the height of the Arch.

The towers will be what are called a delta shape (which is somewhat of an elongated triangle) above the driving surface of the bridge.

The towers are currently under construction. Crews have nearly reached the deck level (driving surface) of the towers.  Both towers should be complete in spring 2012.
